**Senior Financial Reporting Analyst**

Salary: $90\-100,000 \+ Bonus

Our client is a publicly traded real estate investment organization with a sizeable, globally diversified portfolio focused primarily on industrial and logistics properties. The business owns, develops, leases, and manages properties directly and operates as a long‑term landlord across Canada, the United States, and Europe.
With a relatively lean corporate structure and a collegial, high‑performing finance team, the organization is financially strong, well capitalized, and known for its disciplined approach to growth. It has demonstrated consistent performance over time and continues to invest carefully while maintaining a strong balance sheet and predictable cash flows.
**Your New Role**
This is a newly created Senior Financial Reporting Analyst role introduced to support the continued scale and increasing complexity of the organization’s global operations. Reporting directly to the VP, Corporate Controller, you will be the third member of a specialized Financial Reporting team.
The role is heavily involved in monthly consolidation, external financial reporting, and technical accounting under IFRS. You will gain exposure to senior leadership, external auditors, and international operations while contributing to continuous improvement and automation initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
* Monthly consolidation and close across Canada, the U.S., and Europe
* Preparation of consolidation entries and eliminations
* Monthly financial reporting and analysis, including FX and fluctuation analysis
* Support quarterly and annual external financial reporting and public filings
* Preparation of financial statements
* Coordination with external auditors and advisors
* Technical accounting research and accounting policy documentation
* Support for upcoming IFRS implementations (including IFRS 18 effective January 1, 2027\)
* Identification of process improvements, efficiencies, and automation opportunities
**Systems:**
Yardi Voyager 7 (strong systems aptitude required)
**What You’ll Need to Succeed**
* CPA designation
* Experience in financial reporting, consolidation, and IFRS
* Background in a public company, audit, or complex reporting environment
* Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills
* Ability to work effectively across multiple jurisdictions
* A proactive mindset with an interest in process improvement and systems
**What You’ll Get in Return**
* **Base salary:**
$90,000 – $100,000
* **Bonus:**
10% target
* **Hybrid work model:**
Tuesday–Thursday in office (option for five days if preferred)
