Our client Grand Islamabad Hotel/Havana Terraces is looking for a Hotel Operations Manager in REMOTE

The Operations Manager at Grand Islamabad Hotel Havana Terraces plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the hotel. This position requires overseeing various departments including housekeeping, maintenance, and facility management to uphold high standards of service and operational excellence. The manager leads a team of 20 individuals, ensuring that processes are streamlined and quality assurance measures are in place to enhance guest satisfaction and hotel performance.

The ideal candidate must possess strong skills in process improvement and hospitality management software, along with extensive experience in property management systems and maintenance management. With a minimum of five years of experience, the manager is responsible for coordinating daily operational activities and effectively managing resources to meet organizational goals. The role demands a proactive leader who can drive performance, foster teamwork, and maintain an impeccable guest experience throughout the hotel.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily hotel operations to ensure efficiency and high-quality service delivery across all departments.
  • Lead and manage a team of 20 staff members including housekeeping, maintenance, and facility management teams, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Implement process improvement initiatives to streamline operations and enhance overall productivity.
  • Monitor and maintain the quality assurance standards to comply with hospitality industry regulations and guest expectations.
  • Manage the utilization and maintenance of hospitality management software, property management systems (PMS), and maintenance management tools.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure timely completion of tasks and upkeep of hotel facilities.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve service quality and operational efficiency.
  • Prepare and manage operational budgets, resource allocation, and performance metrics to meet organizational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the hotel premises.
  • Create and maintain effective communication channels between departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Conduct regular training and performance evaluations to develop staff skills and maintain high service standards.
  • Address and resolve operational issues promptly, minimizing guest complaints and enhancing satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop strategies for business growth and customer retention within the hospitality sector.
