Riphah International University seeks a dedicated Lecturer specializing in Cyber Security and Artificial Intelligence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in cybersecurity fundamentals and artificial intelligence concepts, with the ability to deliver high-quality education to undergraduate and postgraduate students. The lecturer will be responsible for preparing and delivering engaging lectures, facilitating a dynamic learning environment, and supporting the development of course materials. This role requires at least one year of relevant experience and a master's degree in a related discipline. While the position does not involve managing a team, collaboration with faculty members and contribution to departmental goals is essential to ensure academic excellence.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver lectures on cyber security and artificial intelligence courses according to the assigned faculty workload.
- Develop, update, and maintain comprehensive course materials, including schemes of work and assessment tools.
- Monitor and record student progress, achievement, and attendance to support effective learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with departmental colleagues to ensure curriculum relevance and continuous improvement.
- Engage students through interactive teaching methods and promote a positive learning environment.
- Assist in the assessment and examination process, providing timely and constructive feedback to students.
- Stay updated with emerging trends and developments in cyber security and AI to enhance course content.
- Support departmental research activities and participate in academic seminars and workshops.
- Adhere to the universitys teaching policies and contribute to faculty meetings and planning sessions.
- Guide and mentor students to encourage their academic growth and professional development.
