The Audit and Compliance Manager role at Recruit AI requires a highly qualified Chartered Accountant with extensive experience in the textile industry. The role involves developing and maintaining comprehensive risk management frameworks to safeguard the companys operations and ensure adherence to legal and industry standards. Although this position does not include managing a team, the Audit and Compliance Manager plays a crucial leadership role by coordinating audit activities, fostering relationships with various departments, and liaising with regulatory bodies. The role requires clear and effective communication skills to present audit findings and enforce compliance improvements. The successful candidate is responsible for continuous monitoring of regulatory changes and driving improvements to auditing processes to uphold ethical standards and regulatory compliance within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth risk assessments to identify operational, financial, and compliance risks within the textile industry context.
- Develop, implement, and maintain a Risk Management Framework designed specifically to address textile industry challenges and risks.
- Lead internal audit efforts across multiple departments to guarantee adherence to legal and regulatory standards.
- Create detailed audit plans and schedules to ensure complete and systematic coverage of all compliance areas.
- Evaluate and interpret textile-specific regulatory requirements and ensure company policies comply with these regulations.
- Stay up-to-date with legislative and regulatory changes impacting the textile sector and adjust internal compliance procedures as necessary.
- Prepare comprehensive audit reports and communicate findings clearly to senior management, offering actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with various organizational teams to ensure audit recommendations are implemented effectively and operational controls are strengthened.
- Serve as the primary liaison with external regulatory agencies during audits and compliance reviews, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
- Promote continuous improvements in audit methodologies and compliance efforts to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness.
