Riphah International University invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. The ideal candidate holds a Ph.D. in a relevant discipline from a Higher Education Commission recognized university or institution. This academic role requires a minimum of three years of teaching or research experience along with a proven track record of at least three research publications in HEC recognized journals. The position involves delivering high-quality instruction, mentoring students, and contributing to the research activities within the department but does not include managing a team.
As an Assistant Professor focused on Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, the appointed individual will engage in curriculum development, conduct original research, and actively participate in academic conferences and seminars. Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science with clarity and enthusiasm.
- Develop and update course materials to reflect the latest advancements and research in the specialty areas.
- Conduct original research and publish findings in recognized academic journals to contribute to the body of knowledge in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.
- Supervise student research projects, theses, and dissertations with a focus on methodological rigor and innovation.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, curriculum design, and academic committees to support program development.
- Apply research methodologies appropriately to design and execute research studies effectively.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science to incorporate into teaching and research.
- Prepare grant proposals and seek research funding opportunities to support scholarly activities.
- Engage in scholarly collaboration within and beyond the university to enhance research output and academic reputation.
- Attend and present at national and international academic conferences to disseminate research findings.
