Our client Fulcrum Pvt Ltd is looking for a Taxation Executive \- FMCG in Karachi The Taxation Executive is responsible for supporting the overall tax function by managing timely tax filings and regulatory submissions with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and other regional authorities such as PRA and SRB. The role involves verifying vendor and customer status, coordinating with distributors, reconciling input tax, and ensuring compliance with all applicable tax laws and deadlines. The specialist must be meticulous in gathering documentation, validating exempt status certificates, and maintaining accuracy throughout tax operations. Candidates will perform varied tax\-related duties, adapting to additional tasks assigned to ensure the integrity and effectiveness of the tax process within the organization. **Responsibilities** * Prepare and file monthly sales tax returns promptly with FBR, PRA, and SRB following applicable regulations. * Support the timely submission of weekly advance tax returns and quarterly statements to relevant authorities. * Collect, verify, and maintain exemption certificates from vendors to ensure proper tax treatment. * Confirm and update the active or inactive status of vendors and customers under FBR, PRA, and SRB tax jurisdictions. * Coordinate with distributors to facilitate the correct uploading of sales returns on the FBR portal. * Assist in reconciling input tax records to verify the accuracy of tax credits and liabilities. * Ensure tax compliance by reviewing all transactions and documentation to maintain accuracy and timeliness in reporting. * Use taxation and tax filing software efficiently to prepare and submit all required documents. * Maintain knowledge of regulatory changes and implement updates in tax procedures as needed. * Collaborate with various departments and external stakeholders to support tax\-related inquiries and audits. * Perform additional tasks related to tax processes as assigned by management, contributing to continuous process improvements.
