Due to our continued growth, we are now recruiting for a **Software Engineer** to join our cloud and connected solutions team. **The Role** We are looking for a **Software Engineer at the early stage of their backend career** to join a highly skilled agile team developing cloud\-based solutions. In this role, you will focus on designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining next‑generation cloud backend services. You will work with modern technologies, microservices architecture, and scalable platforms, while collaborating with experienced engineers in a dynamic environment. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your technical skills, learn from peers, and contribute to innovative and customer\-focused solutions. **Responsibilities** * Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain cloud backend services * Build and work with **microservices\-based architectures** * Collaborate with cross\-functional agile teams * Ensure high\-quality delivery with a focus on performance and reliability * Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices * Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing * Work with modern development and collaboration tools **Experience / Background** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field * Less than **5 years of experience** in backend or cloud software development * Strong programming skills in **Java** * Experience working with **cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)** * Hands\-on experience with **Spring Boot and microservices** * Experience with **SQL databases** (e.g., PostgreSQL, Cassandra) * Experience with **Docker and Kubernetes** * Comfortable working with **Git and Jira** * Fluent in **English** , both written and spoken * **Valid EU driving license (role\-dependent requirement)** **Meritorious Skills** * Experience with **gRPC or REST APIs** * Knowledge of **Kafka and MQTT** * Experience with **monitoring tools (Grafana, PagerDuty)** * Experience with **API testing tools (Postman)** **Personal Profile** * Proactive and solution\-oriented mindset * Strong communication and collaboration skills * Analytical and structured approach * Curious and eager to learn * Flexible team player with a positive attitude * Self\-driven with ability to work independently If you are passionate about cloud backend development and eager to grow your career in a fast\-paced environment, we would love to hear from you. **Tata Technologies: Engineering a better world.** *Tata Technologies would like to thank all applicants for their interest; each application will be reviewed against the set criteria for the role.
