Resident Engineer

**Job Title:** Resident Engineer – Wet Utilities (Stormwater \& Drainage) **Location:** Abu Dhabi, UAE **Job Description:** We are seeking a highly experienced Resident Engineer specializing in Wet Utilities to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in stormwater and drainage systems, with a strong background in managing and supervising infrastructure projects. **Key Responsibilities:** * Lead and supervise on\-site construction activities related to wet utilities, particularly stormwater and drainage systems * Ensure all works are executed in compliance with project specifications, international standards, and Abu Dhabi authority regulations * Coordinate effectively with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure timely and successful project delivery * Review and approve technical drawings, materials, shop drawings, and method statements * Monitor project progress, quality control, and HSE compliance * Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and site issues efficiently * Prepare detailed progress reports and maintain accurate project documentation **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline * **Minimum 15\+ years of relevant experience** in wet utilities projects, with a strong focus on stormwater and drainage systems * Proven experience working as a Resident Engineer on major infrastructure projects * Strong knowledge of Abu Dhabi standards and authority requirements (e.g., ADM, ADSSC) is highly preferred * Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
