Hi Tech Plastics Engineering is seeking an experienced Sales Manager (Regional Sales Manager) to lead the sales operations in Central Punjab. This role requires a dynamic professional skilled in sales strategy development, key account management, and territory management to drive significant growth within the region. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing effective sales strategies targeting the spices and dessert product lines, ensuring that sales targets are consistently met or exceeded. They will manage relationships with distributors and oversee trade marketing initiatives while maintaining strong product presence in key markets.
The successful candidate will lead a team of 20 professionals, providing direction, coaching, and motivation to achieve team and individual sales goals. This position demands a proactive leader who can plan and forecast sales figures, execute trade schemes to enhance category growth, monitor sales performance, and implement merchandising standards. Strong analytical capabilities to assess market trends and competitor activities will support making informed business decisions. The role also requires fostering strong partnerships with trade partners to resolve issues efficiently and ensure smooth regional sales operations.
**Responsibilities**
* Develop and implement comprehensive regional sales strategies to align with company goals and market demands.
* Plan, forecast, and monitor monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets to ensure consistent achievement.
* Design and execute trade promotional schemes and marketing activities to boost product category growth and visibility.
* Manage existing distributors effectively and identify opportunities for appointing new distributors to expand market coverage.
* Ensure product availability in all key outlets within the designated territory to maximize sales potential.
* Monitor sales performance closely across all distributors, analyzing both primary and secondary sales data to identify improvement areas.
* Lead, coach, and motivate a regional sales team of 20 individuals by setting clear objectives, monitoring performance metrics, and conducting regular training and performance reviews.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to coordinate and implement regional trade promotions and ensure strong in\-store merchandising and brand presence.
* Implement and supervise display standards across outlets to maintain product visibility and brand consistency.
* Gather and analyze relevant market intelligence, including competitor pricing, product launches, and market trends, to provide actionable insights for business growth.
* Prepare and present detailed sales and market performance reports to senior management to inform decision\-making.
* Build and sustain robust relationships with key trade partners, distributors, and retailers to facilitate long\-term business growth.
* Address and resolve trade\-related issues promptly to ensure seamless coordination and operational efficiency across the sales network.
* Represent the company at regional trade events and exhibitions to promote products and develop new business opportunities.
* Ensure strict compliance with company policies regarding pricing, discounts, credit terms, and sales expense management.
* Monitor distributor stock levels, claims, and receivables to maintain healthy inventory and cash flow positions.
* Control and optimize regional sales expenses within approved budgets to maximize profitability.
