What We're Building
The insurance industry is a $500B market still running on the same playbook it used in 1980. There are 39,000 independent agencies, it costs approximately $560 to service a single policy, and expertise doesn't scale beyond the people in the room. We're changing that.
Our proprietary AI platform handles submissions, renewals, endorsements, certificates of insurance (COIs), coverage analysis, and client communication across every commercial line and industry vertical—at near-zero marginal cost. The result is a single agency with unlimited specialization and a cost structure that no traditional brokerage can match.
Role Overview
We're looking for a Python Automation Engineer who is passionate about eliminating repetitive manual work through smart, scalable automation. In this role, you'll design and build automation solutions that improve operational efficiency, streamline business processes, and support the AI-powered systems that drive Aiden Risk.
You'll collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to develop automation frameworks, integrate with internal and external systems, and build reliable tools that enable our business to scale rapidly.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation workflows using Python.
- Build reusable automation libraries and utilities to improve engineering efficiency.
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks for business processes and system integrations.
- Integrate automation solutions with REST APIs, databases, and third-party platforms.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize automation pipelines for performance and reliability.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested Python code following engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with engineering, AI, and product teams to automate operational workflows.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design discussions.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes through automation.
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional experience
in Python development or automation engineering.
- Strong proficiency in
Python
.
- Experience building automation solutions using frameworks such as
Selenium
,
Playwright
, or similar tools.
- Experience working with
REST APIs
and integrating third-party services.
- Good understanding of
SQL
and relational databases.
- Familiarity with
Git
and collaborative software development practices.
- Experience using testing frameworks such as
pytest
or
unittest
.
- Familiarity with data processing libraries such as
Pandas
or
NumPy
.
- Strong analytical thinking, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

and containerized applications.
- Familiarity with
