About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented
Senior Financial Accountant \& Reporting Analyst
to join our elite talent network. In this role, you will manage end-to-end accounting operations, drive month-end closures, and deliver high-level financial analysis for US and Canadian corporate clients.
Position Overview
As a
Accountant
, you will own accounting cycles and financial reporting for assigned entities or clients, ensuring compliance while serving as a trusted financial partner to internal and external stakeholders.

Employment Type: Full-Time - Fully remote
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (schedule based on client requirements - Schedule can be in PST/MST/EST/CST)
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle month-end and year-end closing procedures for multiple assigned accounts.
- Draft, review, and analyze financial reports in strict accordance with
US GAAP
and
IFRS
.
- Conduct variance analysis against historical data and forecasts to provide actionable strategic commentary.
- Manage complex GL entries, fixed asset schedules, and revenue recognition rules.
- Ensure balance sheet health through rigorous multi-currency reconciliations.
- Act as the main technical contact during annual audits and tax filing preparation.
- Quality-check work completed by staff accountants and provide technical mentorship.
Tools \& Systems
- QuickBooks Online / NetSuite / Xero
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (VBA/Macros, dynamic array formulas, financial models)
- Google Sheets \& Google Workspace
- Modern cloud accounting and FP\&A tools
Qualifications
- Location requirement:
Must be currently residing in Islamabad, Pakistan.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent from a top-tier institution.
- Strong working knowledge of
US GAAP
and accrual accounting principles.
- ACCA or CA finalist
status preferred.
- 2 to 4 years of hands-on professional accounting experience with international exposure.
- Fluency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High autonomy, strong time management, and comfortable working in remote global teams.
