Planning Engineer – Estimation & Quantity Takeoff

We are looking for a detail\-oriented Planning Engineer with hands\-on experience in quantity takeoffs, cost estimation, and construction planning. The ideal candidate should have exposure to international projects (preferably US\-based) and strong command over estimation tools. **Location:** Karachi / Islamabad (Hybrid) **Timings:** 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM **Working Days:** Monday – Friday **Job Type:** Full\-Time **Key Responsibilities:** * Perform detailed quantity takeoffs (especially concrete) using tools like PlanSwift and Bluebeam * Prepare accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and bid proposals * Analyze construction drawings and specifications for material quantification * Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and vendors for cost alignment * Assist in bid planning and pricing strategies * Suggest cost\-effective solutions to improve project competitiveness **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering * **2\+ years of experience** in estimation / planning / quantity surveying **Hands\-on experience with:** * PlanSwift * Bluebeam * AutoCAD / Revit Strong understanding of: * Concrete estimation * Quantity surveying * Construction drawings * Good communication and analytical skills **Nice to Have:** * Experience working on **US\-based construction projects** * Knowledge of cost optimization techniques * Advanced Excel skills
