Role Description
The .NET Faculty role at Aptech Pakistan is a full-time, on-site position based in Karachi. The faculty member is responsible for delivering structured classroom instruction on .NET technologies, including C#, ASP.NET, and related frameworks, following Aptech’s curriculum and teaching standards. Daily activities include preparing lesson plans, developing teaching materials, conducting lectures and lab sessions, assessing student performance through assignments and exams, and providing constructive feedback. The role also involves mentoring learners on projects, guiding them on best practices in software development, and supporting their readiness for certifications and job placements. The faculty member collaborates with academic coordinators and other instructors to continuously improve course content, integrate industry trends, and maintain high teaching quality.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in .NET technologies (e.g., C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core) and related tools, with the ability to teach concepts from basic to advanced levels.
- Sound understanding of software development fundamentals, including object-oriented programming, data structures, databases (e.g., SQL Server), and web application development.
- Demonstrated teaching, training, or mentoring skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to learners with diverse backgrounds.
- Capability to design and evaluate assignments, projects, and assessments that reflect real-world software engineering practices.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills, with a learner-focused and inclusive approach to education.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant industry certifications in .NET or Microsoft technologies are an advantage.
- Experience working in the software industry or in academic roles related to programming and web development is highly beneficial.
- Commitment to continuous learning, staying current with emerging .NET frameworks, tools, and best practices, and integrating them into teaching.
