We are looking for a skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join one of our Supply Chain product teams. In this role, you will contribute to the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of AI/ML solutions that support business-critical processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams in an agile environment, helping to transform data into scalable and impactful solutions.
Qualifications
Applicable working experience or a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field.
Solid understanding of software development principles, algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
Deep knowledge of Python programming, as well as familiarity with frameworks, programming languages, and paradigms relevant to AI/ML development.
Solid understanding of common AI/ML algorithms and paradigms.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Experience with version control systems such as Git and MLOps.
Experience with Google Cloud Platform and cloud-based development.
Role-Specific Skills
Ability to analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve issues of varying complexity in existing AI/ML solutions.
Good understanding of the different phases of the AI/ML development lifecycle and the ability to contribute throughout the process.
Understanding of software testing methodologies and the ability to recommend and implement appropriate testing approaches.
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly, including writing user stories, and collaborate effectively with both team members and stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment.
Good understanding of coding standards, best practices, and design patterns, with the ability to apply them appropriately to solve complex problems while improving maintainability and performance.
Possess a broad understanding of different technology stacks and tools, along with the ability to make informed implementation decisions aligned with business requirements and organizational standards.
Ability to independently address technical challenges while recognizing when collaboration or support is needed to achieve the best outcome.
