About the role:
As a Tax Accountant, you are part of the Tax team for Group, which is part of Accounting \& Tax. You will work closely with other teams within Accounting, Business Control and other key functions within the business, and have close cooperation with Group Tax. The role entails overall responsibility for ensuring correct handling and reporting of tax issues with a focus on our Nordic operations within Bank AB, but also from a broader group perspective. You will work with both ongoing tax management and qualified and complex issues, where you will have the opportunity to take on a large responsibility and contribute to the continued development of the business. The role reports to the Head of Accounting.
Main tasks:
Responsible for preparing tax calculations in Sweden and Norway.
Participate in work to prepare a new tax calculation for new branches that emerged after the merger of AirPlus International into Bank AB.
Responsible for preparing and submitting VAT returns in Sweden and Norway
Ensure correct accounting of taxes in monthly and annual financial statements and reporting internally and externally
Support the business in tax-related matters throughout the entire project and transaction chain, from planning to implementation together with the Tax Specialist
Maintain dialogue with the Swedish Tax Agency, other authorities, external advisors and external auditors.
Participate in and drive projects linked to new regulations, legislative changes and operational changes.
Identify and implement improvements in processes, internal controls and reporting.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with an academic degree in accounting, finance, economics or equivalent, as well as several years of experience in qualified tax work. Experience from banking, the financial sector or other regulated activities is an advantage.
To succeed in the role, we see that you:
Has good knowledge of corporate tax and VAT.
Has experience in tax accounting, tax calculations and tax reporting.
Enjoys handling complex issues and translating regulations into practical and business-oriented solutions.
Has good analytical skills and a structured way of working.
Is communicative and has an easy time building trusting relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Are used to working independently while appreciating collaboration across functional and national boundaries.
Fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English.
