Job Description

We are currently partnering with a leading

professional services organization

to hire an experienced

HR Manager (1-year contract)

to support their Toronto office.

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, partnering closely with leaders, and delivering high-impact HR support across multiple business units.

About the Role

Reporting to senior HR leadership and working closely with a national HR team, you will play a key role in delivering best-in-class HR services and supporting the organization’s talent strategy.

You will act as a trusted advisor to leaders while managing core HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on

performance management, employee relations, and disciplinary matters

  • Lead

full-cycle recruitment

for administrative and support roles

  • Advise leadership on

organizational structure and workforce planning

  • Support

onboarding, training, and succession planning initiatives

  • Manage employee communications, engagement, and feedback processes
  • Participate in

HR programs, projects, and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Ensure compliance with employment standards and HR best practices

What We’re Looking For

  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience

, ideally in a professional services environment

  • Strong experience in

employee relations, performance management, and recruitment

  • Solid understanding of

Ontario employment legislation (ESA)

  • Proven ability to influence and coach stakeholders at all levels
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a

fast-paced environment

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • CHRP or CHRL designation preferred

Work model: On-site

Salary range: $110,000 - $125,000 CAD/year
