This position requires a dynamic, service\-oriented professional who thrives in a hospitality setting and leads with a people\-first approach. The successful candidate acts as a visible, hands\-on partner to operational leaders, the Corporate Director of Human Resources, and team members, supporting the full employee lifecycle from recruitment to retention. The role involves balancing strategic workforce planning, employee relations, compliance, and leadership development, all while cultivating a positive and engaging workplace culture. Regular travel across Heritage properties is essential to support HR operations, training, and employee engagement initiatives, ensuring consistent application of policies and fostering trust at all levels of the organization. **Qualifications** * SHRM\-CP / SHRM\-SCP or PHR / SPHR certification is preferred but not mandatory. * Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. * Between 3 to 7\+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a corporate, multi\-location, or high\-growth environment. * Experience with HRIS systems such as Paylocity or similar platforms is advantageous. * Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices. * Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict\-resolution skills. * Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. * Proficiency in HRIS platforms, Google Workspace, and reporting tools. * Valid driver’s license and the ability to meet company insurability requirements, as travel is a key component of the role. * Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are preferred but not required. **Responsibilities** * Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on employee relations matters, fostering a positive and compliant work environment. * Support and coach leaders through performance management processes, including feedback, discipline, and employee development initiatives. * Investigate employee concerns promptly and fairly, ensuring legal compliance and resolution. * Maintain accurate and up\-to\-date employee records within HRIS systems, ensuring data integrity. * Ensure organizational compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws such as FLSA, FMLA, ADA, ACA, and EEO regulations. * Develop, communicate, and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with organizational values and legal standards. * Support HR audits, reporting, and regulatory filings as required to maintain compliance. * Assist in leadership development, training programs, and succession planning to build a strong talent pipeline. * Promote employee engagement, recognition, and retention strategies to foster a motivated workforce. * Partner with senior leadership and HR team members to align HR strategies with organizational goals. * Provide guidance on workforce planning, organizational design, and change management initiatives. * Support compensation and benefits processes, including merit increases, bonus cycles, benchmarking, and vendor relations. * Analyze HR metrics and trends to inform strategic decision\-making and continuous improvement efforts. * Travel regularly to multiple Heritage properties across New Mexico to support HR operations, employee relations, and leadership development. * Maintain a professional, positive approach in all interactions with employees, management, and guests. * Collaborate with management to improve work relationships, enhance morale, and increase productivity and retention. * Assist in team\-building activities and morale\-boosting projects to strengthen organizational culture. * Maintain strict confidentiality of all Human Resources information and sensitive data. * Perform other related duties as assigned to support organizational success. **Benefits** * Competitive salary package complemented by comprehensive benefits, including a 25% match for 401(k) retirement plans. * Generous employee discounts across Heritage Hotels, restaurants, spas, and retail outlets. * Free parking for employees at all locations. * The opportunity to support and grow within the second\-largest private employer in New Mexico. * Direct impact on employee well\-being and organizational culture across multiple properties. * Opportunities for professional growth and career development within a dynamic hospitality organization. * An inclusive, people\-first culture that values diversity, collaboration, and innovation.
