Kaizen Paints is seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager HR and Capability Development to lead and enhance our human resources functions, particularly focusing on talent acquisition, learning and development, and performance management. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of workforce planning, employee engagement, and succession planning, ensuring the company maintains a skilled and motivated workforce aligned with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 10 years of HR experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial capacity, with exposure preferably in the Manufacturing and FMCG sectors. An MBA degree is essential to drive strategic initiatives and compliance within the department effectively.
In this leadership role, the Manager will oversee a team of two professionals, fostering a collaborative environment that supports HR operations, policy development, compensation and benefits management, as well as employee onboarding. The position requires strong capabilities in reporting and ensuring adherence to regulatory compliance, enabling Kaizen Paints to sustain its competitive edge through optimal human capital management and capability development strategies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top talent aligned with the companys growth objectives.
- Design and oversee comprehensive learning and development programs to enhance employee skills and promote continuous professional growth.
- Drive performance management processes, including setting evaluation standards, conducting assessments, and facilitating feedback sessions.
- Lead succession planning initiatives to identify and prepare high-potential employees for critical roles within the organization.
- Promote employee engagement through initiatives that foster a positive workplace culture and encourage open communication.
- Conduct workforce planning to anticipate organizational needs and align human resources accordingly.
- Manage HR operations including employee onboarding, compensation and benefits, ensuring efficient and compliant processes.
- Develop and update HR policies to meet current labor laws, industry standards, and company values.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and maintain accurate HR reporting and documentation.
- Lead and mentor the HR team of two, fostering professional development and ensuring effective teamwork and collaboration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to integrate HR strategies with overall business objectives.
- Monitor key HR metrics and prepare reports to inform leadership on workforce trends and organizational health.
