Finance officer - GL \& Accounts Payable Accountant

Salary:

AED 12000 per month

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage General Ledger (GL) accounting activities, including journal entries and account
• reconciliations.
• - Prepare and post accruals, prepayments, and month-end adjustments.
• - Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
• - Conduct Actual vs. Estimate/Budget variance analysis.
• - Perform balance sheet and GL reconciliations.
• - Handle end-to-end Accounts Payable, invoice verification, payment processing, and vendor
• reconciliations.
• - Resolve vendor queries.
• - Prepare financial reports and support audits.
• - Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• Professional accounting and /or finance qualification would be an added advantage (e.g. CPA,ACCA,CMA,CFA)
• At least 3 to 5 years’ experience of working in an relevant finance role.
• SAP experience would be an advantage
• Knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Excellent English communication skills (verbal \& written)
