General Counsel

We’re working with a global, product\-led technology platform at the forefront of personalisation, AI, and consumer\-facing innovation. **They are looking for a Senior Privacy Lawyer to join for a 6 month period in a General Counsel role.** You will take a leading role in shaping how data is used across large\-scale digital products — influencing everything from user experience and tracking technology to next\-generation AI features. This is a rare opportunity to sit directly alongside product and engineering teams, not just advising, but actively shaping how privacy is built into products used by millions. * Acting as the lead privacy advisor to product teams * Supporting cutting\-edge initiatives across AI, personalisation, and digital platforms * Designing and implementing scalable privacy frameworks * Advising on legal bases for data use (consent, legitimate interest, etc.) * Driving best practice across tracking technologies and consent models * Working closely with engineering, product, and commercial teams * Playing a key role in balancing innovation with compliance **What They’re Looking For** * 5\+ years’ experience in privacy / data protection law * Strong grounding in GDPR and related regulation * Experience advising on consumer\-facing technology products * Ability to operate in a fast\-paced, product\-driven environment * Commercial, pragmatic mindset — able to enable, not block innovation Flexible **remote / hybrid setup**
