About the Role:
We are looking for a
Financial Executive
to join our finance team at Gatronova. The role involves supporting month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports, and maintaining compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical, coordination, and reporting skills with proficiency in SAP and MS Excel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the finance team in financial reporting, month-end and year-end closing activities, and internal control processes.
- Coordinate with Operational teams to obtain required information and ensure timely completion of reporting activities.
- Prepare schedules and workings related to Assigned Provisions, Insurance, and other financial reporting areas.
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and supporting schedules as part of closing cycle and requirement by Manager.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and related disclosures in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Perform monthly expense analysis, investigate significant variances, and highlight unusual trends to Manager.
- Consolidate financial information from various functions for monthly closing and management reporting as and when required.
- Assist in the preparation of weekly, monthly, and ad hoc management reports.
- Support sales tax compliance by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and documentation as required.
- Coordinate with external auditors by providing audit schedules, supporting documents, and responding to information requests.
- Ensure assigned activities are completed in compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and reporting deadlines.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, enhance efficiency, and strengthen financial controls.
- Support automation and continuous improvement initiatives within the financial reporting function.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education:
ACCA/ICMA (finalist or qualified)
- Experience:
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of
financial reporting standards
and
month-end closing processes
.
