Our client Sardar Group of Companies is looking for a Finance Director \- Real Estate \& Investment Management in REMOTE Sardar Group of Companies is seeking an experienced Direct Finance professional to lead and oversee the financial operations of the organization. This role requires a highly skilled and strategic leader who can manage a large finance team of 30 personnel, ensuring the effective execution of financial planning, analysis, and control activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, budgeting, cash flow management, and regulatory compliance, coupled with a Fellow Chartered Accountant qualification and at least 18 years of relevant experience. The Direct Finance leader will be responsible for driving investment management strategies, risk mitigation, and cost control initiatives while leveraging ERP and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) software platforms such as RSA Archer and ServiceNow GRC. This role demands a thorough understanding of compliance management and reporting, especially within the context of Real Estate Investment Trusts (REIT). The successful candidate will provide strategic financial guidance, ensure adherence to regulatory standards, and foster a culture of risk awareness and financial discipline across the company. **Responsibilities** * Lead and manage the finance department of 20 professionals, providing clear direction, mentoring, and performance management to ensure high team productivity and engagement. * must have experience of construction sector. * Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to support the company’s business objectives and growth plans. * Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational growth in real estate and construction sectors. * Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management to drive informed decision\-making. * Prepare and present detailed financial reports to senior management and stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements. * Oversee investment management activities, ensuring optimal allocation of capital and assessment of investment risks and returns. * Play a key leadership role in REIT structuring, planning, and execution. * Lead and manage processes related to IPO preparation, financial restructuring, and listing requirements, working closely with legal, compliance, and investment advisors. * Implement and maintain robust cost control measures to optimize financial efficiency and profitability across business units. * Utilize ERP software to integrate financial data and streamline operations, enhancing reporting accuracy and timeliness. * Manage risk through the development and execution of risk mitigation strategies, identifying financial risks and implementing controls to mitigate exposure. * Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to finance, risk management, and reporting, particularly within the REIT sector. * Lead the deployment and use of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platforms such as RSA Archer and ServiceNow GRC to monitor and report compliance status, risks, and governance practices effectively. * Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and address findings promptly. * Drive continuous process improvements within the finance function to enhance effectiveness, transparency, and accountability. * Coordinate with other business units to support financial planning, risk assessments, and compliance initiatives. * Stay up to date with changes in financial regulations and best practices in finance management to ensure company practices remain current and compliant. * Champion a culture of financial discipline and ethical practices throughout the organization.
