Sabcon Associates is seeking a motivated and detail\-oriented Site Engineer to contribute to its real estate development projects based in Lahore. This role is ideal for fresh candidates with substantial internship experience in site execution or construction projects who are eager to grow their career in civil engineering.
This position requires a strong understanding of construction drawings, site execution, and basic surveying techniques, coupled with proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office applications is a plus. The role emphasizes coordination between contractors, consultants, vendors, and site personnel to ensure smooth site operations that comply with approved specifications and safety standards.
**Responsibilities**
* Supervise daily construction site activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
* Perform site layout marking and setting\-out works to establish accurate project boundaries and reference points.
* Conduct level checking, coordinate surveying activities, and perform precise site measurements to support project execution.
* Assist in quantity estimation and preparation of bills of quantities (BOQ) to facilitate cost control and project budgeting.
* Ensure all construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
* Liaise effectively with contractors, site staff, consultants, and vendors to synchronize site operations and material deliveries.
* Monitor material usage and workmanship quality to maintain project standards and prevent wastage.
* Regularly report site progress to project management and contribute to resolving technical and logistical site issues.
* Utilize AutoCAD and MS Office tools to document and communicate site information and project status updates.
* Work independently in a challenging site environment, managing tasks proactively and efficiently without team supervision.
