Our client Pakistan Revenue Automation (Pvt) Ltd is looking for a DevOps Engineer \- Entry Level in Islamabad Pakistan Revenue Automation (Pvt) Ltd is seeking a Junior DevOps Engineer to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate has at least two years of relevant experience and a solid understanding of continuous deployment, monitoring and logging, and scripting automation. This role focuses on supporting the development and operational processes of web applications and APIs on web servers, ensuring smooth and efficient delivery and system stability. The Junior DevOps Engineer works under guidance and does not manage a team, contributing to automating and improving deployment pipelines within our infrastructure. **Responsibilities** We are seeking a passionate and motivated DevOps Engineer with 2\+ years of experience to join our growing technology team. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the round\-the\-clock availability of our web portals and APIs, which involves active coordination with multiple internal and external stakeholders. You will also be responsible for automating our DevOps infrastructure, establishing and managing CI/CD pipelines, and supporting deployment processes. Key Responsibilities : * Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to streamline automated build, testing, and deployment processes. * Host, manage, and maintain web applications and APIs on web servers, ensuring high availability and reliability. * Monitor web portals, applications, and APIs to ensure 24/7 uptime, performance, and operational stability. * Knowledge of incident management activities, troubleshoot production issues, and performing detailed root cause analysis (RCA). * Participate in system upgrades, patch management, and maintain accurate technical and operational documentation. * Collaborate and coordinate with cross\-functional internal teams, vendors, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth service delivery. **Required Skills \& Qualifications** 4 Years Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. 2\+ years of professional experience in a DevOps or similar role. **Technical Expertise** * Manage and administer Windows Server environments, including IIS configuration, maintenance, and PowerShell scripting for automation and operational tasks. * Solid knowledge of Design, develop, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to support automated build, testing, and deployment workflows. * Work with build and dependency management tools such as Visual Studio and Maven for application compilation and release management. * Exposure to automation like Implement and support infrastructure and configuration management using tools like Terraform and Ansible. * Familiarity with Configure, monitor, and analyze system and application performance using monitoring and logging platforms such as ELK Stack and Grafana. **Additional Valued Skills** * Individual possessing industry certification in DevOps or Operating Environment shall be preferred. * Understanding of Linux environments, including scripting and administration of JBoss EAP and Nginx. * Exposure to managing database CI/CD pipelines. * Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Podman, OpenShift) is a strong plus.
