Role Description The Data Science Trainer is a full-time, on-site role based in Islāmābād, Pakistan. This role involves designing and delivering data science curricula, including lectures, hands-on labs, and project-based learning activities for diverse groups of learners. The trainer will plan lessons, prepare teaching materials, and explain core concepts such as statistics, programming, machine learning, and data visualization in an accessible way. Daily responsibilities include assessing learner progress, providing feedback, addressing questions, and adapting teaching methods to different skill levels. The trainer will also collaborate with the training team to update course content, align programs with industry needs, and contribute to continuous improvement of training standards.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Science Education, with the ability to connect data science concepts to practical scientific and analytical problem-solving.
- Proficiency in Physics and Mathematics to explain quantitative methods, modeling, and statistical reasoning used in data science.
- Experience as a Qualified Teacher, including classroom management, learner engagement, and clear instructional communication.
- Demonstrated skill in Lesson Planning, curriculum design, and structuring learning paths from beginner to advanced levels.
- Relevant background in data science, statistics, computer science, or a related discipline; experience with tools such as Python, R, SQL, or machine learning frameworks is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM field, Education, Data Science, or a related area preferred.
- Ability to explain complex topics in simple terms, provide constructive feedback, and support learners from varied educational and professional backgrounds.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, and a commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory teaching practices.
- Office Timing 1pm to 10pm (PST)
- Salary Range 50k to 70k.
