Customer Service Representative (Contract)

$25–28/hour

12+ Month Contract (Maternity Leave Coverage)

Hays Specialist Recruitment is partnering with a global leader in logistics and transportation (confidential) to hire a Customer Service Representative for a maternity leave contract. This organization manages high-volume vehicle logistics operations, supporting the movement of tens of thousands of vehicles monthly. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in customer-facing, operations-driven environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage customer service inquiries related to vehicle logistics and shipments
  • Track and process high volumes of vehicle data, including VIN numbers
  • Coordinate and support vehicle movement through logistics facilities (approximately 38,000–40,000 vehicles per month)
  • Assist with customs-related documentation and processes
  • Generate reports and maintain accurate records of vehicle activity and status
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all administrative and tracking tasks
  • Support operational workflows and escalate issues where necessary

What You Need to Succeed

  • Previous experience in customer service within a logistics, transportation, or operations-focused environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of data accurately
  • Experience working with reports, tracking systems, or operational data
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, structured environment with fixed schedules
  • Valid driver’s license (

Work Schedule

  • Tuesday to Saturday schedule (

fixed shift

)

  • Tuesday to Friday: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Saturday: 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM
  • Overtime may be available based on operational needs
