Job Description
Our client Riphah International University is looking for a Assistant Professor, Medical Laboratory Sciences in Malakand
As an Assistant Professor, you will be responsible for developing and delivering course content, conducting laboratory sessions, and supervising student research projects. Your expertise in laboratory management and regulatory compliance will ensure that practical training is conducted in accordance with industry and ethical standards. You will also contribute to the academic community through research activities, curriculum development, and participation in departmental functions. Although this role does not involve managing a team, collaboration with faculty and laboratory staff is critical for maintaining an effective learning environment and advancing the department's goals.
**Responsibilities**
* Prepare and deliver lectures and laboratory sessions on medical laboratory sciences topics.
* Develop and update course curriculum and instructional materials in line with academic standards.
* Supervise and mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students in research projects and practical training.
* Maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements relevant to medical laboratory education.
* Conduct and publish research to contribute to the field of medical laboratory sciences.
* Coordinate with laboratory staff to ensure the availability and proper maintenance of laboratory equipment and materials.
* Participate in departmental meetings, academic committees, and professional development activities.
* Evaluate and assess student performance through examinations, practicals, and assignments.
* Promote a safe and ethical laboratory environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Support the universitys mission by engaging in community outreach and professional networking.
