Our client Hi Tech Plastics Engineering is looking for a Area Sales Manager \- FMCG in Lahore In this position, the Area Sales Manager drives sales growth by cultivating effective working relationships with distributors, ensuring seamless order processing, and optimizing stock levels to avoid shortages or excess inventory. The role involves coordinating trade marketing efforts and enhancing product visibility to strengthen brand recognition across all sales channels. The manager also prepares detailed sales reports, assesses team and distributor performance, and implements corrective actions where necessary to improve results. This leadership role requires strong team management capabilities to provide coaching and regular performance feedback, helping team members achieve their sales potential. Candidates must hold a bachelors degree in business administration or a related field and possess proven experience managing sales teams and distributors. Familiarity with products in the spices, desserts, or food categories will be advantageous. **Responsibilities** * Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies aligned with company goals to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets within the assigned Lahore territory. * Manage and expand distributor networks by overseeing operations related to sales, inventory, claims, and receivables, ensuring timely order fulfillment and product availability. * Identify and pursue new business opportunities by analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to increase market share across retail, intermediate, local, and HoReCa channels. * Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of five sales professionals, ensuring effective daily market visits, route coverage, and continuous performance evaluations to maximize team productivity. * Coordinate and implement trade marketing initiatives including promotional campaigns, product displays, and merchandising to enhance product visibility and brand presence. * Monitor and control inventory levels with distributors to prevent stockouts or overstock situations, maintaining optimal stock levels aligned with sales forecasts. * Ensure adherence to company policies regarding pricing, discounts, credit, and trade claims, managing all related operational processes efficiently. * Prepare detailed sales performance reports and market feedback analyses, using data insights to identify challenges and recommend corrective measures to senior management. * Collaborate with marketing and regional sales teams to plan visibility drives and support product launches within the Lahore territory. * Maintain comprehensive records of distributor and sales team activities, performance metrics, and customer interactions to inform strategic decisions and improve service quality.
