Accountant | Growing Advisory \& Accounting Firm | London (Paddington)

An opportunity to join a growing and entrepreneurial accounting and consulting firm in a broad, hands-on semi-senior Accountant role.

Working across a diverse client base, you’ll take ownership of management accounts, bookkeeping, reporting and compliance, while acting as a key point of contact for clients. This is a varied position offering genuine responsibility and broad exposure across multiple areas of accounting.

Working closely with teams across the UK and UAE, you’ll support a range of accounting requirements while helping improve processes and ways of working.

About the role:

• Preparation and review of management accounts
• Hands-on bookkeeping and oversight of accounting accuracy
• Supporting year-end processes and audit coordination
• Acting as a key contact for client queries and accounting matters
• Supporting VAT, compliance and wider finance requirements
• Helping improve reporting, processes and efficiency

About you:

• 5+ years’ accounting experience within practice or industry
• Strong bookkeeping and management accounting experience
• Confident managing multiple priorities and deadlines
• Strong Excel and cloud accounting systems experience (Xero, QuickBooks or Sage)
• Strong communicator with a client-focused approach
• Proactive, organised and comfortable taking ownership
