Job Description
**Job Overview:**
We are looking for an experienced and result\-oriented Area Sales Manager for engineering and industrial products sales. The ideal candidate must have strong technical sales expertise and a proven track record in selling mechanical engineering products including compressors, generators, steel pipes, and related industrial equipment.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve assigned sales targets.
* Manage and expand business relationships with industrial and engineering sector clients.
* Promote and sell compressors, generators, GRS systems, steel pipes, and other mechanical engineering products.
* Identify new business opportunities and generate leads in assigned territories.
* Conduct client meetings, technical presentations, and product demonstrations.
* Prepare quotations, negotiate contracts, and close sales deals effectively.
* Coordinate with technical and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
* Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business.
* Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis for management.
**Requirements**
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Engineering (BE Mechanical or BS Mechanical preferred).
* Minimum 10 years of sales experience in engineering or industrial products.
* Strong experience in sales of compressors, generators, steel pipes, and related mechanical products.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
* Strong understanding of industrial and engineering market dynamics.
* Ability to achieve sales targets and manage key accounts independently.
* Must be willing to travel as per business requirements.
