About Job Role:
Join our Procurement team as an
Archiving Officer
and play a key role in managing physical and digital records, ensuring secure document storage, regulatory compliance, and efficient record management across the organization.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Library Sciences, Records Management, or relevant field.
- Certification in Records/Document Management (preferred)
Experience:
- 2–4 years of experience in document management, archiving, or administrative roles
- Experience in banking/financial institution will be preferred
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and record retention policies
Skills:
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Computer literate (MS Office, document management systems)
- Attention to detail and confidentiality handling
- Good coordination and communication skills
- Ability to manage large volumes of records efficiently
- Process-oriented mindset
Job Responsibility:
- Develop, implement, and manage centralized archiving systems for physical and digital records
- Ensure proper classification, indexing, and secure storage of all organizational documents
- Maintain record retention schedules in line with regulatory and internal policies
- Coordinate with departments for record collection, retrieval, and disposal
- Coordinate with ADSPL (Archiving Vendor) through email, telephone and physical visit as and when required
- Ensure confidentiality and integrity of sensitive documents
- Maintain DMS discussions and implementation
- Digitization of historical records and maintaining backup systems
- Conduct periodic audits of archived records
- Ensure compliance with SBP and internal audit requirements
- Any other task assigned by Head of Procurement
