About The Assignment We are looking for a hands-on Site Reliability \& DevOps Engineer to join a technology-driven product company operating large-scale customer-facing digital services. The assignment focuses on ensuring highly available, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructure while enabling development teams to deliver features efficiently and reliably.
You will take ownership of the DevOps and SRE domain, working closely with backend developers and cross-functional teams to improve automation, operational excellence, deployment workflows, and platform reliability. The role combines infrastructure engineering, cloud operations, CI/CD, security, and release support in a modern cloud-native environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure and platform services
- Deploy, monitor, and optimize backend applications and services
- Build and maintain scalable microservices and supporting tooling
- Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines and release processes
- Drive automation initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce operational overhead
- Support development teams with release management, tooling, and operational best practices
- Ensure platform reliability, performance, scalability, and security
- Troubleshoot incidents and continuously improve system stability and observability
Required Skills \& Experience
- Several years of hands-on experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or DevOps Engineer
- Strong knowledge of networking and infrastructure concepts, including DNS, VPCs, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, certificates, and Kubernetes ingress
- Experience with identity and access management, including OAuth, SAML, and federated identity solutions
- Solid experience working with Terraform, Kubernetes (GKE and/or EKS), ArgoCD, Git, Grafana, cloud monitoring solutions, and BigQuery or similar analytics platforms
- Strong experience with CI/CD tooling, preferably GitHub Actions
- Experience operating cloud environments in AWS and/or GCP
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across engineering teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Programming or scripting experience in Python, C#, Rust, or similar
- Experience from gaming, digital entertainment, or other high-traffic consumer products
- Experience with security initiatives and cloud security best practices
- Familiarity with modern platform engineering practices and cloud-native architectures
