Civil Site Engineer — Residential Project (Contract)

Location:  DHA Multan (site-based, full time)

Contract: 4–6 months

Reports to:  Owner, coordinating with the project architect and structural consultant

Role

Supervise the day-to-day construction of a residence from foundation through structure and finishes. The owner is overseas, so this role is the owner's eyes on site, accuracy, documentation, and daily reporting matter as much as technical execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute works strictly per the architectural, structural, and MEP drawings; raise any drawing conflict or site deviation immediately instead of deciding on site.
• Verify layout, setbacks, covered area, and height against approved plans and DHA Multan bylaws; ensure the build stays compliant through every stage.
• Check reinforcement (bar size, spacing, laps, cover, bar bending schedule) before every pour and get owner/consultant sign-off; supervise concrete mixing, slump, pouring, compaction, and curing.
• Inspect all incoming material for quality and quantity; reconcile delivery challans against site consumption and report wastage or shortfall.
• Verify contractor and labour measurements and bills before any payment is released..
• Submit a daily photo/video update and a weekly written progress report (with next-week plan) to the owner.
• Manage contractor, mason, steel-fixer, and MEP teams; keep site safety, storage, and housekeeping under control.

Eligibility

• BSc Civil Engineering or DAE (Civil) / relevant diploma.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on site experience on similar residential projects; DHA or private housing scheme experience preferred.
• Able to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings independently.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel; comfortable with smartphone reporting (WhatsApp, photo documentation, video call).
• PEC registration preferred for degree holders.
• Based in Multan; own transport preferred.
• Honest, punctual, and willing to be on site daily during working hours.

Compensation

• Monthly salary, negotiable based on qualification and experience. Salary Range 35K-50K.
• Completion bonus

payable on satisfactory completion of the contract term, subject to work quality, adherence to schedule, complete site documentation, and no unresolved defects at handover.
