- About the Opportunity:
The Senior Manager, Human Resources provides strategic leadership and oversight for all HR functions. This role is responsible for managing talent acquisition, developing HR strategy, ensuring employment compliance, enhancing organizational effectiveness, and leading the HR team. The position plays a key role in designing people programs that support the organization’s goals and works closely with leadership to drive these initiatives.
- Responsibilities:
- Lead firmwide recruiting strategy across all levels including attorneys and staff
- Partner with department leaders on hiring forecasts and external search firm coordination
- Track recruiting metrics and ensure EEO compliance
- Co-own employment law compliance and policy development; hold final authority on policy decisions
- Oversee disciplinary processes, performance improvement plans, and investigations
- Serve as primary HR liaison to leadership, advising on organizational design and workforce planning
- Lead and develop the HR team
- Support diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy
- Oversee performance reviews, feedback processes, and compensation planning
- Champion employee engagement and well-being
- Present HR data and insights to leadership committees
- Support administration of career advancement and progression programs
- Coordinate benefits administration, HRIS integrity, and data governance with other departments
- Requirements:
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience with at least 3 years in senior leadership
- Strong background in employment law, benefits, compliance, and full-cycle recruiting
- Proven leadership and team development skills
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation abilities
- High discretion and sound judgment
- Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now; ViGlobal experience is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
- SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification strongly preferred
- Pay Range and Compensation Package:
- Base salary: $125,000 – $175,000 DOE
