Your New Role
As Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting, you will be an integral member of the corporate accounting team, supporting high-quality financial reporting and ensuring compliance with IFRS and regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation and review of quarterly and annual financial statements, including MD\&A, press releases, AIF, and investor presentations
- Completion of impairment testing processes
- Reviewing acquisitions and dispositions, including complex accounting entries and integration support
- Preparing and reviewing covenant compliance reporting
- Supporting legal entity reporting and external audit processes
- Partnering with operational finance teams to advise on complex accounting matters
- Conducting IFRS research and preparing technical accounting memos
- Driving system improvements, automation initiatives, and reporting best practices
- Supporting month-end and quarter-end close and other ad hoc deliverables
This is a hybrid role based in Mississauga (3 days in office).
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- CPA designation with 8–10 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong public company external reporting experience
- Deep understanding of IFRS and technical accounting
- Experience with consolidations and complex accounting transactions
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to manage large datasets
- Experience with EPM systems (e.g., OneStream) and ERP systems (Yardi considered an asset)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- High attention to detail, with a proactive and adaptable mindset
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
