**Senior Commercial Counsel / Lead Product Counsel** **Remote (US)** We are currently partnering with a high\-growth, venture\-backed technology company on the search for a **senior commercial lawyer** to join its lean and highly strategic legal team. The business operates at the intersection of SaaS, APIs, logistics infrastructure, data, and AI\-enabled technology, supporting a large international customer base and processing significant volumes of commercial transactions globally. Following continued growth and product expansion, the company is looking to add a commercially minded attorney who enjoys operating close to the business within a fast\-paced and collaborative environment. **The Opportunity** **Reporting directly to the General Counsel** , this role will work closely with senior leadership and cross\-functional stakeholders across product, engineering, go\-to\-market, security, finance, and operations. **This is a broad and highly visible position with significant responsibility across:** • Leading negotiation and drafting of complex commercial agreements • SaaS, API, technology, data processing, and vendor agreements • Product and technology counselling • AI, automation, and legal operations initiatives • Data governance and privacy related matters • Regulatory and operational risk management • Building scalable legal processes and workflows • Supporting strategic growth initiatives across the business The company is particularly interested in candidates who are commercially pragmatic, solutions\-oriented, and comfortable balancing legal and business risk in a fast\-moving technology environment. **Ideal candidates are likely to bring:** • Strong in\-house technology or SaaS experience • Significant commercial contracting experience • Experience supporting product, engineering, or go\-to\-market teams • Familiarity with AI tools, legal operations, and workflow automation • Exposure to privacy, intellectual property, marketing, or data governance matters • Ability to operate independently within a lean legal team • Strong communication skills and business judgement Previous startup or high\-growth company experience is highly desirable. **Additional Information** • Fully remote within the US • High\-growth international technology platform • Lean and collaborative legal team • Significant exposure to senior leadership and strategic matters • Competitive compensation package including base salary, bonus/equity potential, and comprehensive benefits
