Legal Counsel/Assistant General Counsel (3-8 Years)

A leading international infrastructure and energy platform is seeking a **mid\-level Legal Counsel/Assistant General Counsel (3–8 years’ experience)** to join its growing U.S. legal team. This role offers the opportunity to work across the **full lifecycle of major infrastructure and energy projects** \- from early\-stage development through construction and into financing and operation. You will work closely with senior leadership and play a key role in supporting the delivery of **complex, high\-value projects across the U.S.** **Key Responsibilities** * Advise on **project development, construction, and project finance matters** across infrastructure and energy projects * Draft and negotiate a broad range of agreements, including **EPC, construction, O\&M, supply, and financing documents** * Support projects from **origination and development through to financial close and execution** * Provide guidance on **risk allocation, contract structuring, and project strategy** * Work closely with internal teams across **development, engineering, finance, and operations** * Support **M\&A, joint ventures, and asset acquisitions/divestitures** within the infrastructure space * Manage external counsel and advise on **regulatory and compliance matters** **Candidate Profile** * **3–8 years of legal experience** in infrastructure, energy, or construction law * Strong experience across a combination of **project development, construction (EPC), and project finance** * Background from a **top law firm and/or in\-house within a developer, sponsor, or contractor** * Familiarity with **energy and infrastructure projects** (renewables experience is a plus) * Commercially minded with the ability to **partner closely with technical and business teams** * Strong drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills If this role is of any interest, please apply here now!
