About the Role

Mavericks United is looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer who can confidently work with international clients, lead technical discussions, and manage cloud infrastructure and deployment processes. This is a client-facing role, so exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are just as important as technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize production environments.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes.
• Ensure system security, reliability, and performance.
• Collaborate closely with development teams and stakeholders.
• Participate in client meetings, gather technical requirements, and provide solutions.
• Communicate project updates, risks, and technical recommendations directly to clients.
• Support incident management and root cause analysis.

Required Skills \& Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
• Knowledge of Linux system administration and networking concepts.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.

Communication Requirements (Mandatory)

• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
• Ability to confidently interact with international clients in real-time.
• Strong presentation, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Professional attitude with strong problem-solving and client-handling capabilities.
