Senior Accountant

We are seeking an experienced and detail\-oriented **Senior Accountant** with **5\+ years of experience** to oversee financial operations, ensure accurate reporting, and support strategic financial decision\-making. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting expertise and the ability to manage end\-to\-end accounting functions in a fast\-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities:** * Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. * Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards. * Manage month\-end and year\-end closing processes with accuracy and efficiency. * Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support business decision\-making. * Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, VAT requirements, and internal financial policies. * Coordinate and support internal and external audit processes. * Reconcile bank accounts and monitor cash flow management. * Supervise and support junior accounting staff where applicable. * Improve financial processes and implement best accounting practices. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * Minimum **5\+ years of accounting experience** , preferably within the UAE. * Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting. * Experience with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. * Solid understanding of UAE VAT regulations is an advantage. * Strong analytical, organizational, and problem\-solving skills. * Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure. * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
