is hiring a Senior Accountant in Lahore.

Location: Lahore

Experience Required: Minimum 5 years of proven corporate accounting experience

Job Type: Full-Time

About the Role We are looking for an experienced, analytical, and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in Lahore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, overseeing general ledger activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and preparing timely financial reports to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
  • Perform account reconciliations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial performance metrics.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial planning activities.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities when required.
  • Review financial transactions and identify discrepancies or areas for process improvement.
  • Support payroll processing, expense management, and fixed asset accounting.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records for audits and financial reviews.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to management to support strategic decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Professional qualification (ACCA, CA Inter/Finalist, CMA, or equivalent) will be preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of corporate accounting experience.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
