is hiring a Senior Accountant in Lahore.

About the Role We are looking for an experienced, analytical, and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in Lahore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, overseeing general ledger activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and preparing timely financial reports to support business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Perform account reconciliations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial performance metrics.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial planning activities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities when required.
- Review financial transactions and identify discrepancies or areas for process improvement.
- Support payroll processing, expense management, and fixed asset accounting.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for audits and financial reviews.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to management to support strategic decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Professional qualification (ACCA, CA Inter/Finalist, CMA, or equivalent) will be preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of corporate accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
