**About the Role:**
We are seeking a detail\-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant (CA Qualified or CA Finalist) to join our team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing a wide range of general accounting functions, preparing comprehensive financial reports, and ensuring compliance with international and local accounting standards. The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant (qualified) or CA Finalist with strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and experience supporting US\-based clients. **Key Responsibilities:**
* Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS/GAAP
* Conduct financial analysis, variance analysis, and ratio analysis
* Oversee month\-end, quarter\-end, and year\-end closing processes
* Review and analyze general ledger accounts and journal entries
* Manage account reconciliations including bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and subsidiary ledgers
* Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and provisions
* Oversee accounts receivable and payable processes
* Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
* Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audit processes
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls
* Prepare audit working papers and supporting documentation
* Assist in tax return preparation and filing
* Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff
* Review work performed by staff accountants
* Recommend improvements to accounting processes and procedures
* Participate in budget preparation and forecasting activities
**Required Qualifications:**
* CA Qualified or CA Finalists with completed articleship
* Strong knowledge of IFRS, local tax laws, and accounting principles
* 4\-6 years of accounting experience
* Experience with financial statement preparation and analysis
* Background in audit, taxation, or corporate accounting preferred
* Proficiency in accounting software (ERP systems, QuickBooks, SAP, etc.)
* Advanced Excel skills
* Strong analytical and problem\-solving abilities
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Effective communication and leadership skills
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
* Team management and training capabilities
