Job Description
**Field Sales Operations Manager – FMCG**
We are partnering with a high\-growth FMCG business in the UAE to appoint a
**Field Sales Operations Manager**
who will take ownership of execution excellence across the market. This role is critical in bridging strategy with on\-ground delivery, ensuring consistent, high\-quality sales performance across all channels.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Own Field Execution Excellence**
Take full accountability for in\-market execution, ensuring sales plans translate into disciplined, high\-impact activity across all territories.
**Distributor \& Channel Performance**
Lead distributor partnerships end\-to\-end — from forecasting and stock management to driving sell\-out performance and expanding market reach across modern and traditional trade.
**Lead \& Elevate Sales Teams**
Manage, coach, and develop a team of field sales professionals, building a high\-performance culture focused on accountability, consistency, and results.
**Optimize Route\-to\-Market Strategy**
Continuously refine territory design, coverage models, and route planning to maximize productivity, reduce inefficiencies, and unlock new growth pockets.
**Drive Data\-Led Performance**
Own sales performance tracking — leveraging KPIs such as distribution, strike rate, and sales productivity to generate insights and course\-correct in real time.
**In\-Store Execution \& Visibility**
Ensure best\-in\-class shelf presence, planogram adherence, and promotional execution across key accounts and retail outlets.
**Trade Activation \& Growth Initiatives**
Plan and execute trade marketing activities, promotions, and campaigns that accelerate sell\-through and strengthen brand presence.
**Market Intelligence**
Act as the “eyes and ears” of the business — feeding back competitor activity, pricing movements, and customer insights to inform commercial strategy.
**Governance \& Controls**
Ensure full compliance with internal processes, credit controls, and reporting standards across all field operations.
**Candidate Profile**
* Minimum
**10\+ years’ experience**
within FMCG, ideally from a multinational environment
* Proven track record managing
**field sales teams and distributor networks in the UAE/GCC**
* Strong understanding of
**route\-to\-market models across modern \& traditional trade**
* Highly analytical with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
* Hands\-on leadership style with a focus on execution and accountability
