Resident Engineer

If you possess a deep understanding of structural engineering principles and a proven track record in managing complex construction environments, we encourage you to apply. **Key Responsibilities:** * Supervise and monitor ongoing M\&R works including canals, hydraulic structures, embankments, and drainage systems * Ensure compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and contractual obligations * Conduct quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) inspections and report non\-conformities * Review and verify contractors’ running and final bills, measurements, and progress reports * Evaluate rate analysis of non\-standard items in line with MRS and relevant standards * Assist in preparation and validation of cost estimates and technical reports * Maintain proper documentation and submit periodic monitoring and evaluation reports to the client * Coordinate with stakeholders including client representatives and contractors for effective project execution **Key Skills \& Competencies:** * Strong technical expertise in irrigation and water sector projects * Sound knowledge of MRS, specifications, and estimation practices * Analytical approach for evaluation and reporting * Effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills **Required Qualifications:** **B.Sc Civil Engineer** **Experience:** * Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in execution and supervision of water sector projects, including: * Canal irrigation systems * Hydraulic structures * Flood embankments * River training works * Barrages and drainage systems **Skills** * Proven expertise in Structural Analysis. * Demonstrated proficiency in Site Supervision and Construction Management. * Strong command of Quality Control and Safety Compliance principles. * In\-depth knowledge of Materials Testing and evaluation. * Ability to proficiently read and interpret Blueprints and technical drawings. * Keen Attention to Detail and a commitment to accuracy. * Strong Time Management and organizational skills.
