Quality Assurance Engineer

About the Role Habib Bank AG Zurich is looking for skilled Software Development Engineers in Testing (SDET) to strengthen our Quality Assurance team. The role focuses on building and maintaining robust automated testing frameworks, ensuring high software quality, performance, and reliability for enterprise and banking applications. Key Responsibilities · Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts · Perform automation testing for web, backend, and enterprise applications · Conduct API testing to validate integrations and services · Use tools such as Selenium for UI automation · Develop and execute test cases using TestNG, JUnit, and Mockito · Work with Spring Boot–based applications for functional and integration testing · Perform performance and load testing using JMeter · Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams · Identify, log, and track defects through resolution · Participate in test planning, test strategy, and continuous improvement initiatives · Ensure adherence to QA best practices and SDLC processes Required Qualifications · 4 years bachelor’s degree in software engineering or computer science, degree from top reputable university with 3\+ CGPA. · 0–3 years of experience in software testing or SDET roles Preferred Qualifications \& Skills · Master’s degree in software engineering, Computer Science, or MBA (IT) is an advantage · Strong expertise in automation testing frameworks and tools · Hands\-on experience with API and performance testing · Solid understanding of software development and testing methodologies · Experience testing enterprise or banking applications is a strong advantage · Strong analytical, debugging, and problem\-solving skills
