About the Role Habib Bank AG Zurich is seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to support advanced analytics and AI initiatives within the Software Development function. The role focuses on building data\-driven solutions, applying machine learning and AI techniques, and delivering actionable insights for business and technology stakeholders. Key Responsibilities · Apply data science and AI techniques to solve complex business and technical problems · Perform data analysis, modeling, and visualization to generate meaningful insights · Develop and maintain solutions using Python for analytics and machine learning · Work with relational and non\-relational databases to manage and prepare datasets · Apply the CRISP\-DM methodology across data science projects · Design, train, and evaluate machine learning models, neural networks, and AI solutions · Work with large language models (LLMs), including RAG (Retrieval\-Augmented Generation) architectures · Build scalable AI applications using LangChain and LangGraph · Deploy data science and AI solutions using FastAPI · Follow MLOps best practices for model deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management · Create impactful dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, and Cognos · Collaborate with software engineers, data engineers, and business teams Required Qualifications · 4 years bachelor’s degree in software engineering or computer science, degree from top reputable university with 3\+ CGPA. · 2–3 years of hands\-on experience in data science, analytics, or AI\-related roles Preferred Qualifications \& Skills · Master’s degree in data science or a related discipline · Strong expertise in data analytics, visualization, and Python programming · Hands\-on experience with machine learning, neural networks, and AI models · Practical experience working with LLMs and RAG\-based architectures · Knowledge of MLOps practices and scalable AI application design · Strong analytical, problem\-solving, and communication skills · Experience in banking or financial services is an advantage
