**This job posting is for a current vacancy with our client.** Our client, a well\-established and growing B2B retail and consumer brand agency, is seeking a Key Account Manager with a strong background in retail sales and national account management to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a client\-facing, relationship\-driven environment and brings a strong understanding of the retail landscape across major big\-box partners. You will act as the strategic bridge between innovative consumer brands and retail partners, ensuring strong account performance while continuously identifying opportunities for growth, expansion, and new product placement. **Key Responsibilities** **Client Strategy \& Relationship Management** • Serve as the primary point of contact for key national retail accounts • Build and maintain strong, long\-term relationships with buyers, merchandisers, and retail stakeholders • Understand client and retailer objectives and translate them into actionable account strategies • Lead presentations, business reviews, and strategic discussions with partners **Account Growth \& Sales Execution** • Own account performance and consistently meet or exceed sales targets • Identify and secure new product listings, category expansions, and growth opportunities • Partner with retail teams to drive sell\-through and optimize in\-store and online performance • Support forecasting, demand planning, and inventory alignment **Data, Analytics \& Reporting** • Analyze sales data, forecasts, and category performance • Provide insights and recommendations to improve account performance • Translate data into clear, actionable strategies for internal and external stakeholders **Retail Strategy \& Market Insights** • Develop a deep understanding of retail trends, category dynamics, and competitive landscape • Support go\-to\-market strategies for new and existing product lines • Identify opportunities for innovation and brand expansion within retail channels **Cross\-Functional Collaboration** • Work closely with internal teams across sales, marketing, and brand partners • Ensure alignment across stakeholders to deliver on client and retailer expectations • Contribute to process improvements and strategic initiatives **Qualifications** • 2–5\+ years of experience in retail sales, key account management, or national accounts • Proven experience working with major retailers (e.g., Costco, Walmart, Amazon, Home Depot, Best Buy) • Strong track record of driving revenue growth and managing retail relationships • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and trends • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools • Must be eligible to work in Canada **Nice\-to\-Have** • Experience in consumer products / CPG or retail agency environments • Exposure to both in\-store retail and e\-commerce channels • Passion for emerging brands, innovation, and retail trends **What We’re Looking For** • A client\-facing sales professional with a strong retail and relationship management mindset • Someone with experience managing and growing big\-box retail accounts • A proactive, strategic thinker who can identify and drive business growth opportunities • Highly organized, detail\-oriented, and results\-driven • A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast\-paced, performance\-driven environment Our specialized recruiting professionals apply their expertise and utilize our proprietary AI to find you great job matches faster
