Accountant

We are looking for a detail\-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our finance team. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with strong full\-cycle experience who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys taking ownership of core accounting functions. You will play a key role in month\-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and supporting year‑end audits. Key Responsibilities * Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements * Support all aspects of month\-end close, including accruals and adjusting entries * Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with GAAP * Perform account reconciliations, including balance sheet accounts * Complete bank reconciliations and resolve variances * Manage intercompany reconciliations and ensure alignment across entities * Support year\-end audit preparation and respond to auditor requests * Participate in inventory counts and prepare related reconciliations * Maintain and update the fixed asset ledger, including additions, disposals, and depreciation * Assist with process improvements and contribute to strengthening internal controls Qualifications * Minimum 5 years of full\-cycle accounting experience * Hands‑on intercompany accounting experience (multi\-entity) * Post\-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field * Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, formulas) * Solid understanding of accounting principles and month\-end processes * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal * High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines Assets (Nice to Have) * Experience in manufacturing, distribution, construction or multi\-entity environments * Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar) * Progress towards CPA designation What You Can Expect * A collaborative team environment * Opportunities to broaden your accounting experience * Exposure to multiple aspects of financial operations * A stable, growth\-oriented organization
