Job Description
Our client in is looking to hire a National Account Manager to join their team. This person can be located anywhere in Ontario. You will be responsible for managing and growing sales revenue with national distributor accounts and national and regional end users through the effective execution of strategic initiatives and sales programs. You will develop, cultivate, and maintain strong relationships with key decision\-makers. In this role, you will collaborate with cross\-functional teams across the organization to ensure a seamless customer transition and deliver a high level of customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities * Compile, prioritize, and report on prospective target lists to support key sales initiatives. * Develop, present, and implement customized sales programs aligned with business objectives. * Collaborate closely with field sales teams to coordinate and support sales activities. * Conduct product and program training for internal teams, distributors, and end users. * Schedule and lead key update meetings and other meetings as required. * Build, advance, and support relationships with key end\-user contacts and decision\-makers. * Provide expertise and support related to pricing, quoting, credit terms, order management, and overall sales support. * Perform business reporting functions, including sales analysis, account updates, and monthly reporting. * Provide input and strategic feedback to the Marketing Department. * Partner with Marketing to effectively utilize and distribute marketing materials, including brochures and point\-of\-purchase assets. * Coordinate, schedule, and execute customer support and engagement events. * Present, execute, and administer corporate sales programs, including co\-op initiatives, rebates, strategic initiatives, promotions, and other programs as required. * Investigate and resolve key account issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner. * Monitor, assess, and report on market conditions and competitor activities within the industry. * Maintain accurate records of monthly sales reports, call reports, expense reports, mileage logs, and travel itineraries. * Manage company assets such as vehicles, demonstration equipment, marketing materials, and product samples. * Perform all duties in compliance with federal, provincial/state, and municipal laws, as well as company policies and procedures. Qualifications * Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally and actively listen. * Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively with a diverse range of individuals while building strong working relationships. * A strong service orientation, with a customer\-focused mindset aimed at building loyalty and expanding market penetration. * Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize work, manage time efficiently, and develop realistic action plans, including formal presentations. * Proven problem\-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement timely, effective solutions. * Strategic thinking capabilities to develop and execute strategies that support organizational and sales objectives. * An innovative mindset, demonstrating resourcefulness and a willingness to generate ideas for continuous improvement. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). * Basic industry knowledge, with experience in power tools and residential and/or commercial construction considered an asset.
