Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Manager Legal \& Contracts role based in Islamabad. The Manager Legal \& Contracts will review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including service agreements, vendor contracts, NDAs, and partnership arrangements. The role involves providing legal guidance to internal stakeholders on business initiatives, risk mitigation, and regulatory implications. The manager will maintain and update contract templates, ensure proper documentation, and manage contract lifecycles from initiation through renewal or termination. Responsibilities include monitoring legal and regulatory developments affecting logistics and technology services, ensuring organizational compliance, and coordinating with external counsel when needed. The position also requires developing and implementing contract management processes, training relevant teams on legal and compliance matters, and preparing reports for leadership on key legal and contractual risks.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Law, with the ability to interpret and apply relevant statutes, regulations, and case law to commercial and logistics-related matters.
- Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, reviewing, and revising contracts, policies, and formal correspondence with attention to detail.
- Experience in Legal Consulting, providing clear, business-oriented legal advice to cross-functional teams and supporting strategic decision-making.
- Demonstrated expertise in Legal Compliance and Legal Affairs, including managing regulatory requirements, internal policies, and risk mitigation initiatives.
- LLM or additional certifications in corporate or commercial law are an advantage from Foriegn Universities
- Proven experience in contract management or corporate legal roles, preferably within logistics, technology, or related sectors.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High ethical standards, sound judgment, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
