Responsibilities
- Lead period end close activities with accuracy and ensure timely reporting across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Fixed Assets.
- Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions in compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
- Establish, monitor, and strengthen accounting controls, reconciliations, and supporting schedules to maintain the integrity of financial records.
- Maintain balance sheet integrity through timely reconciliations, resolution of outstanding items, and effective management of account balances.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including review and approval of journal entries, payment vouchers, and accounting adjustments.
- Prepare quarterly, half-yearly, and annual separate and consolidated financial statements in compliance with IFRS, applicable laws, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversees Fixed Assets processes, ensuring accuracy, proper capitalization and compliance with standards.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors during quarterly reviews, half-yearly reviews, and annual audits, ensuring timely resolution of audit observations.
- Liaise with insurance companies for timely renewal and management of insurance policies.
- Prepare ad hoc financial reports, analyses, and management information as required by senior management.
- Lead ERP implementation, enhancement, and digital transformation initiatives, including Oracle EBS and Oracle Fusion implementations.
Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant
- 3-5 years of post-qualification experience, preferably with a listed company.
- Hands on experience with Oracle EBS, ORACLE Fusion, financial reporting tools, and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
